The Warranty Processor is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, processing, and submission of warranty claims and related reports. The role ensures that warranty claims, repair orders, supporting documents, parts, and records are properly monitored and maintained, while coordinating with GAC International and internal departments to ensure compliance with warranty requirements and processes.
Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare and review repair orders and supporting documents for warranty claims through the designated warranty system.
Process PMS, common warranty, Technical Service Bulletin (TSB), and Field Service Action (FSA) claims.
Ensure that labor, sublet, materials, and parts charged to repair orders are accurately claimed and properly tallied against warranty claims.
Monitor warranty claims daily and respond promptly to requests for additional information, denied or reversed claims, on-hold claims, and other warranty concerns.
Coordinate with GAC International regarding system issues, claim requirements, approved claims, and other warranty-related concerns.
Check and process SSP claims through the designated warranty system.
Monitor ordered warranty parts and ensure proper completion of Parts Request and Issuance Slips.
Monitor, organize, and file closed repair orders to ensure accurate and efficient record retrieval.
Prepare and submit the Dealer Warranty Invoice to GAC International on a monthly basis.
Complete and submit PMS coupons to GAC International every month.
Prepare the monthly warranty system versus Repair Order report and ensure timely submission.
Compile FSA, TSB, and SSM information released by GAC International, ensuring that records are updated and readily available for reference.
Monitor and ensure the proper return of warranty parts by technicians and submit returned warranty parts to the designated warranty parts custodian.
Prepare the Service Metrics Report (Snapshot) for submission to GAC International.
Maintain accurate and organized warranty records and documentation for monitoring, reporting, and audit purposes.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Assistant Service Manager or Service Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Office Administration or any 4-year related course.
At least 1 year of experience as a Warranty Processor or in a related role, preferably in the automotive industry.
Knowledge of after-sales and workshop processes and workflow.
Knowledge of basic automotive and dealer management systems.
Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
Strong analytical and data-gathering skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accurate records.
Demonstrates commitment, integrity, teamwork, and initiative.
Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
