Description

The Verification Specialist ensures employment outcomes from platform introductions are accurately tracked, verified, and documented to support revenue recognition and prevent missed placements.

Responsibilities

  • Validate employment outcomes of candidates sourced through the platform.
  • Confirm key placement details such as start dates, employment status, compensation, and work setup.
  • Conduct follow-ups with employers and candidates to verify job placements.
  • Cross-check records and responses to identify inconsistencies or discrepancies.
  • Investigate potential off-platform hires and cases of fee avoidance.
  • Collect supporting evidence and maintain thorough documentation for each case.
  • Escalate suspicious or unresolved cases in line with established procedures.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with both employers and candidates.
  • Handle outreach through calls, emails, and follow-ups to ensure timely verification.
  • Manage challenging conversations with professionalism and tact.
  • Maintain accurate and updated case records across all systems.
  • Support revenue protection by ensuring all placements are properly validated and documented.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in contact center operations, customer support, recruitment, or other high-volume calling environments.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Skilled in conducting investigative follow-ups, identifying inconsistencies, and documenting findings accurately.
  • Experienced in handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and persistence.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze information from multiple sources.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with competing priorities.
  • Capable of working independently and resolving cases with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in CRM systems, spreadsheets, and case management tools.
  • Experience in verification, collections, fraud investigation, background screening, recruitment, healthcare staffing, customer escalations, or related roles is a plus.
