Our client is a fast‑growing hospitality group with a diverse portfolio of pubs, restaurants, and property assets across Australia. As their network continues expanding, they are strengthening their PH-based finance team to support high-volume operational accounting.
Job Description
- Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting for the venue.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Reconcile accounts and manage general ledger operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders onshore to manage financial transactions efficiently.
A Successful Venue Accountant Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A strong general accounting background with 3+ years of end-to-end accounting experience
- Skilled in reconciliations, GL, balance sheet work, and month-end close
- Comfortable managing high-volume workloads
- An excellent communicator, confident in engaging with multinational stakeholders (preferably Australians but not required).
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable
- Preferably with exposure to hospitality or property, but not required
