The Usage Billing Analyst plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end quote-to-billing process for usage-based billing products. This position is responsible for generating accurate quotes when required, entering order details into relevant systems, and ensuring flawless data flow across quoting, ordering, and billing platforms.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Oversee the complete order-to-billing process for usage products, ensuring flawless and accurate order management support for both sales teams and clients.
- Manage the full order lifecycle, including order preparation, monitoring, permissioning, billing, credits, and cancellations for both new and renewal orders. Ensure all client orders are accurate for sales and financial reporting, while adhering to compliance controls and third-party guidelines.
- Aligns to a designated client base and is accountable for building relationships with internal and external customers, playing a vital role in improving service results
- Address and resolve inquiries related to quote/order status, billing, client account details, permissioning, and compliance matters.
- Lead ad hoc initiatives in collaboration with relevant teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer requests.
- Identify trends and provide recommendations to improve systems, processes, and overall operational efficiency.
- Own and handle basic Service Alerts, including their creation, resolution, and pre-audit activities.
- Supports tasks related to Salesforce systems such as following up on pending orders and billing, navigating through contract queries or product installations
- Supports the process of acquiring contracts, order forms from customers and trials management
- Supports to resolve grievances related to administrative issues while partnering closely with internal stakeholders
- Maintains and manages client relationships throughout the product and service fulfilment process.
- Provides subject matter expertise in processing requests within Salesforce systems and supports the resolution of moderately complex queries related to contracts and product installations.
Qualifications And Experience
- Proficient in Japanese language (spoken and written); capable of conducting business communication and interpreting technical documentation.
- Some prior experience in Order-to-Cash or customer support roles, with a foundational understanding of order management processes.
- Applies general knowledge of business, developed through education, to make informed judgements.
