Job Description
Required Skill Set:
- Accounting / Commerce background (mandatory)
- Familiarity with US taxation concepts (preferred) – Forms such as 1040, W-2, 1099, etc
- Candidates with CPA internship experience or exposure to tax return preparation will be highly preferred
- Basic understanding of tax calculations and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail for QA and validation tasks
Target Candidate Profiles:
- P0: CPA interns/candidates preparing for the CPA
- P1: Candidates with experience in tax return preparation/tax review/return editing
- Perform QA checks on datasets prepared by CPAs
- Validate:
- Data completeness and document presence
- Tax calculations and reconciliation
- Consistency across forms and supporting documents
- Ensure datasets meet client and IRS compliance standards
- Format and finalize datasets for delivery
