Our Consumer Lending team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in BGC, Taguig with the role of Credit Associate.

In this role, you will be responsible for the pre-screening and initial evaluation of loan applications, supporting Credit Officers by ensuring timely and compliant assessments that align with internal policies and regulatory standards.

What The Role Will Entail

• Conducts proper AML/KYC due diligence upon onboarding
• Performs pre-evaluation of loan applications within the prescribed turnaround time
• Performs duplicate checking vs. bank systems and bureau database
• Assesses and recommends the acceptability of the applicant based on approved policies
• Ensures all applications processed adhere to credit policies
• Coordinates with Credit Officers and related teams as needed
  
  
  

• At least a Bachelors/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing, or equivalent
• Preferably with experience in a similar or related capacity
• Trainable, keen to details, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with AML/KYC is a plus
