The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for a Transition Engineer - Field Services Migration Specialist, who will "see the world through the eyes of the customer” delivering workstation and mobile device platform conversions to our clients in the financial services, life sciences, legal and manufacturing verticals just to mention a few. Your typical day will involve migrating, educating, and supporting end users as part of their cloud onboarding journey.

In this role, the successful Transition Engineer - Field Services Migration Specialist will have the opportunity to work with some of the latest workstation and device management technologies across a myriad of clients in an organization that fosters an ownership culture, in which every employee takes personal responsibility for ECI’s success.

This is an hybrid role, reporting to the ECI BGC, Taguig office. Rotating shifts: early mornings / UK / EMEA hours and after hours.

What you will do:

  • Set up new Windows/MacOS computers, connecting them to Azure Active Directory, on-premises Active Directory, and/or Intune MDM.
  • Transition existing end user Windows/MacOS computers to MS Azure, Intune MDM, and/or on-premises Active Directory, ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Guide users through enrolling iOS/IPadOS and Android devices with Intune MDM/MAM via Company Portal, ensuring compliance.
  • Assist end users facing challenges with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive.
  • Provide Active Directory support, including user management, password resets, and troubleshooting network drives and printers through Group Policy.
  • Utilize common technology support tools such as Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Intune MDM/MAM, Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware.
  • Participate in after-hours/weekend cloud migrations/conversions of end user devices.
  • Apply basic network principles like DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP, VPN.

Who you are:

  • 2-5 years’ experience with supporting Windows Desktop, MacOS, iOS/iPadOS, & Android devices.
  • Experienced Tier 2/3 support engineer seeking your next career challenge.
  • The teams go-to player for assistance and support.
  • Self-reliant troubleshooter with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions.
  • You possess an in-depth understanding of e-mail and spam technologies.
  • Your background includes practical experience in hardware, specializing in desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • You excel in interpersonal skills, prioritizing the establishment of rapport and the successful management of expectations.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSP)
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Intune
