Job Description

About The Role

We are scaling our Deposits Division and expanding the Relationship Manager team. We are looking for an experienced and driven Team Lead to manage and grow a high-performing RM group focused on acquiring large deposits from high-value, HNW, and affluent clients.

This role requires solid banking experience in the Philippines, strong expertise in deposit products, and an established client network. We are specifically looking for a younger, digital-minded leader who can drive day-to-day execution, enforce performance discipline, and operate effectively in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.

Ideally, candidates should come from digital banks, fintech companies, or other fast-scaling financial institutions rather than purely traditional banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and expand a team of Relationship Managers across multiple geographic zones (NCR North/South/East/West and nearby provinces). Drive acquisition of large time deposits and ensure strong conversion from client meetings to successfully opened accounts.
  • Provide hands-on support to RMs during client negotiations, objection handling, and deal closing.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear KPIs, and ensure consistent achievement of targets.
  • Instill daily performance management and operational discipline within the team.
  • Strengthen processes covering client meetings, documentation flow, coordination with branches, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the bank’s HNW and affluent client base.
  • Collaborate closely with Telesales, Marketing, and Product teams to support deposit campaigns and acquisition initiatives.
  • Maintain strong portfolio quality while delivering an excellent client experience.
  • Report key metrics including pipeline, performance, and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven banking experience in the Philippines, with strong exposure to deposits, wealth management, or branch leadership.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully acquiring substantial deposits and managing relationships with High-Net-Worth (HNW) and mass affluent clients.
  • Prior experience leading and managing a sales or Relationship Manager team, with accountability for performance targets.
  • Established personal client networks are highly advantageous.
  • Strong leadership capability with a track record of developing, motivating, and driving accountability within high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; confident and credible in senior client-facing engagements.
  • Solid understanding of digital banking products and modern customer acquisition strategies.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven, and growth-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple geographic zones, perform under pressure, and consistently deliver against ambitious targets.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to build and lead one of the fastest-growing RM teams in the market.
  • Competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives.
  • Dynamic, fast-moving environment with strong leadership support and quick decision-making.
  • Clear career progression as we continue to scale the Deposits Division.
