Team Lead — Relationship Managers (Deposits Division)

Location: Manila, Philippines

Type: Full-time, On-site/Field Work


About the Role

We are scaling our Deposits Division and expanding the Relationship Manager team. We’re looking for an experienced Team Lead who will manage a high-performing RM group focused on attracting large deposits (high-value clients, HNW, affluent segment).

This role requires strong banking experience in the Philippines, deep knowledge of deposit products, and an existing personal network.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of Relationship Managers across multiple geographic zones (NCR North/South/East/West + nearby provinces).

• Drive acquisition of large time deposits and ensure high conversion from meetings to opened accounts.

• Provide hands-on support to RMs during client negotiations, handling objections, and closing deals.

• Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs, and ensure consistent target achievement.

• Strengthen processes: client meetings, documentation flow, coordination with branches, Compliance, and Operations.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the bank’s HNW client base.

• Work closely with Telesales, Marketing, and Product teams on deposit campaigns.

• Maintain portfolio quality and deliver excellent client experience.

• Report key metrics (pipeline, performance, forecasts) to senior management.


Qualifications

• Mandatory: Banking experience in the Philippines, preferably in deposits, wealth, or branch management.

• Proven track record of acquiring deposits and working with HNW or mass affluent clients.

• Previous experience leading a sales or RM team.

• Existing personal client network is a strong advantage.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate relationship bankers.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; confident in client-facing situations.

• Ability to work under pressure, meet targets, and manage multiple zones.

• University degree in Business, Finance, or related fields.
