Responsibilities
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop systems ensuring timely resolution of issues to maintain productivity.
Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures to enhance system reliability and security.
Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements to enhance user experience and system efficiency.
Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Support end-users by providing training and guidance on system usage to enhance their technical proficiency.
Participate in system upgrades and migrations to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards to maintain the integrity and security of IT systems.
Provide input on technology solutions and strategies to support business objectives and drive innovation.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of services and support.
Contribute to the development of disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures.
Qualifications
Possess a strong understanding of desktop support and troubleshooting techniques.
Demonstrate proficiency in hardware and software installation and configuration.
Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively support and train end-users.
Show ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Display strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with technological advancements.
Experience with remote support tools and technologies is highly desirable.
Certifications Required
CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent is preferred.
