Your Role

As a Supervisor, Fund Accounting, you will:

• Review medium to complex net asset valuations (NAV) for a portfolio of hedge funds to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable policies.
• Supervise the daily administrative functions and liaison with investment managers, prime brokers, and custodians across various international jurisdictions.
• Mentor junior staff by providing technical training and guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables and professional growth within the team.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and resolve complex accounting queries during audit cycles.
• Manage client relationships by ensuring all reporting and operational metrics are delivered in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Education: Degree holder in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 4–5 years of Hedge Fund or Private Equity related experience; OR 2–3 years of HF/PE experience plus 3–5 years of general Financial Services experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of fund accounting systems and a deep understanding of fund constitutional documentation and operational structures.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong grasp of legal, regulatory, and internal risk management requirements.
• Leadership: Proven ability to handle complex NAV preparations and oversee the output of junior team members.
  
  

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Certification: Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• System Knowledge: Experience with the Advent Geneva system.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional professional communication skills for interacting with international investment managers and stakeholders.
• Data Integrity: Strong attention to detail regarding client onboarding and fund setup data entry.
• Agility: Ability to manage ad-hoc reporting projects and operational metrics as required by management.
