The Impact: In this role, you will play a critical part in elevating our brand by producing seamless, high-quality events for clients and prospects across the financial industry. Success in this position requires a proactive mindset, strong ownership, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of hands-on experience with the ON24 webinar platform, Cvent, and in-person event operations—preferably within the financial or professional services sector. Strong communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy are essential.

The Team: The Global Events and Webinar Team is a high-performing, results-driven group responsible for driving customer engagement, strengthening revenue pipelines, and elevating the S&P Global Market Intelligence brand through outstanding event experiences. We manage a diverse portfolio of programs—including webinars, conferences, trainings, and hosted events—executed with precision, creativity, and operational excellence. Our team partners closely with Marketing, Product, Commercial, and senior leadership to deliver events that inform, engage, and generate measurable business impact. You will be joining a collaborative global team that values accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. Together, we work to deliver meaningful, consistent, and high-quality event experiences that support the growth of our business and the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

Event Management

  • Plan and execute logistics for in-person events and webinars, ensuring flawless coordination of timelines, assets, and deliverables.
  • Minimum two years of experience using Cvent, including end-to-end event setup, registration management, onsite support, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience researching events venues, hotels, conference centers, and vendors to secure competitive rates and favorable terms.
  • Manage all Food & Beverage (F&B) and Audio/Visual (A/V) logistics, from menu planning, catering coordination, and attendee dietary needs to securing A/V equipment, supervising technical setup, and ensuring seamless event production.

Virtual Event & Webinar Operations (ON24)

  • Minimum two years of hands-on experience with the ON24 platform.
  • Produce and manage webinars, including building registration pages, console layouts, and engagement tools.
  • Coordinate stakeholder materials such as speaker bios, slide decks, related downloadable content, and console assets.
  • Lead all webinar activities: dry runs, speaker preparation, live-day execution, troubleshooting, Q&A moderation, lead generation capture, and post-webinar reconciliations.
  • Produce comprehensive post-webinar reports with performance metrics, insights, and recommendations.

Stakeholder Coordination & Project Management

  • Manage the full webinar lifecycle—from topic alignment and audience targeting to promotion, execution, and performance review.
  • Develop project plans outlining key milestones, deliverables, and workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with speakers, marketers, product leads, and commercial stakeholders to ensure alignment on content, branding, and objectives.
  • Partner with Marketing on multi-channel promotional strategies to maximize registration and engagement.

Event Execution

  • Support live event operations for both virtual and onsite events, ensuring adherence to protocols, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate rehearsals, tech checks, vendor management, onsite setup, attendee experience, and live troubleshooting.

Data, Reporting & Process Optimization

  • Track event metrics, analyze performance, and prepare post-event reporting across all formats.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements to workflows, best practices, and operational playbooks in collaboration with the Global Webinar Team.

Minimum And Preferred Education

  • Bachelor Degree

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years managing in-person events, virtual events, and On24 webinars in a corporate or financial environment.
  • Platforms: Hands-on experience with ON24 and Cvent required.
  • Communication:
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build productive relationships at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues under pressure.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); hands-on experience with ON24 and Cvent; familiarity with marketing automation or CRM tools is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Events, Communications, or a related discipline preferred.
