Software Architect

As a Software Architect, you will be a senior technical leader responsible for designing complex software architectures, building systems from scratch, and driving strategic technical decisions. Reporting directly to a Project Manager and indirectly to the Chief Technology Officer this pivotal role includes leading projects, providing invaluable mentorship to other developers, and playing a key role in client communication and proposal writing.

You will be expected to handle uncommon and complex requirements with minimal guidance and collaborate closely with Sales and business analysts to independently craft compelling technical proposals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Design appropriate software architecture for both common and uncommon requirements, and build entire systems from scratch with confidence and minimal guidance.
• Client & Proposal Leadership: Effectively communicate technical plans and project status to clients. You will independently write comprehensive proposals, inclusive of estimates, in close collaboration with Sales and business analysts.
• Knowledge & Community Contribution: Actively contribute new software development knowledge to the O&B community, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical leadership in pre-sales activities, advisory engagements, and discovery phases.
• Mentorship & Training: You may be asked to teach classes, maintain training material, or conduct short talks for both internal and external audiences, leveraging your proficiency in various subject matters.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management to ensure the success of our projects and technical vision.
