Sharepoint Developer

Position Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level SharePoint Developer to join our team for a migration project to the SharePoint Subscription Edition.

As a SharePoint Developer, you will have hands-on experience in modern SharePoint development, including SPFx, TypeScript, React, and Power Automate, while being comfortable supporting legacy components using JSOM/CSOM. This role involves building modern solutions, automating workflows, and ensuring smooth integration with APIs while maintaining existing functionality during migration.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Develop and customize SharePoint solutions using SPFx, TypeScript, and React for modern pages and web parts.
• Design and implement automated workflows using Power Automate and API connectors.
• Integrate SharePoint with external systems using REST API and Microsoft Graph.
• Support and maintain legacy SharePoint components using JSOM/CSOM during migration.
• Ensure adherence to Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices using tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and GitHub.

• Customize SharePoint site navigation, branding, and theming.
• Create technical documentation and diagrams using Visio or Miro.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint applications and workflows.
• Assist with SharePoint setup, administration, and migration activities as needed.
• Ensure application availability for users and provide production support when required.
• Work closely with application owners to gather requirements and deliver results.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Adhere to the European time zone and calendar, including public holidays.
• Comfortably communicate with onshore clients to gather requirements.
• Ensure high-quality standards are met and maintained.
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 3+ years of experience developing and customizing SharePoint solutions (2016/2019 and Subscription Edition), with a strong focus on modern SharePoint architectures.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Modern SharePoint Development: SPFx (SharePoint Framework), TypeScript and React
• Automation: Power Automate, API connectors
• API Knowledge: REST API, Microsoft Graph
• Legacy Understanding: JSOM, CSOM
• Client-side development experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and vanilla JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SQL (queries, stored procedures, views, SQL jobs).
• Experience with ALM tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, Azure DevOps, GitHub.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable with client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of diagramming tools like Visio or Miro.
• Experience publishing and consuming web services or APIs using XML/JSON.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Azure services is a plus.
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
• Must be amenable to working onsite 3 days a week in McKinley, Taguig, on a mid-shift to night shift schedule.
