Senior Test Automation Engineer Playwright

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement testing strategies, creating automated test scripts, and participating in code reviews. You will also monitor and report defects, contributing to continuous improvement efforts throughout the application lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and improve testing processes. - Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met and provide constructive feedback. - Monitor application performance and report defects to facilitate timely resolution. - Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Playwright. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. - Familiarity with API testing and security testing techniques. - Ability to analyze and interpret test results to provide actionable insights. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Playwright. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 2 year(s) of experience is required
