The Senior Sales Engineer will drive business development, manage key customer accounts, and provide strong technical guidance to clients. This role works closely with internal teams (Sales Support, Technical Service, and Regional Management) to deliver proposals, resolve customer issues, and execute sales strategies that support business growth. The position also includes local office coordination, market development, and representation at industry events.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within assigned industries.
Achieved annual sales targets and contribute to territory growth strategies.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and technical presentation.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
Customer Relationship & Account Management
Build long-term relationships with customers, EPCs, consultants, and distributor.
Manage key accounts, contract renewals, and pricing negotiation.
Provide after-sales service coordination, including troubleshooting and follow-up.
Ensure high customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and professionally.
Technical Expertise & Support
Provide technical recommendation on plate heat exchangers and system applications.
Collaborate with technical team to support design, sizing, and solution development.
Conduct site visits, performance evaluations, and system inspections when required.
Support customer FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), commissioning, and installation guidance.
Branch Operations & Coordination
Support daily operations of the Philippines Representative Office in BGC Taguig
Coordinate with the Regional Teams on logistics, order processing, and project updates.
Assist in Local Marketing initiatives, seminars, and customer trainings.
Maintain proper documentation, reports, and sales forecast for management review.
Marketing and Representation
Represent HISAKA at industry exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) is preferred.
Proven experience in Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, or Industrial Equipment Sales.
Strong technical understanding of heat exchanger, HVAC systems, pumps, boilers, or related equipment.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of the heat exchanger industry and industrial applications is an advantage.
Willingness to travel within the Philippines and occasionally overseas.
