We’re looking for a strategic, forward-thinking Commercial Strategy Manager to lead the formulation, execution, and performance management of our national commercial strategy. This role is pivotal in shaping our commercial operations, ensuring alignment between national objectives and field execution, and driving excellence across planning cycles such as Long-Range Planning (LRP) and Original Budget (OB).

You will transform commercial insights into actionable strategies, optimize route‑to‑market (RTM) models, and partner closely with field and cross-functional teams to deliver business growth and operational excellence.

What Is Expected of You

Strategic Planning & Sales Strategy

  • Lead national sales strategy development and commercial planning cycles.
  • Align sales objectives with market trends, business goals, and execution capabilities.

Sales Performance & Route‑to‑Market Optimization

  • Analyze sales performance, coverage models, and RTM effectiveness.
  • Drive improvements in execution quality, territory segmentation, and resource deployment.

Strategic Framework Ownership

  • Own and manage the Sales Operations OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies & Measures).
  • Ensure visibility, alignment, and consistent tracking of commercial initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Field Sales, Commercial Planning, Channel Development, and Deployment teams.
  • Act as a key partner during OB and LRP planning to align volumes, assumptions, and investments.

Governance, Reporting & Insights

  • Establish governance mechanisms to monitor strategic plan execution.
  • Provide senior leaders with insights and recommendations for performance improvement.

Sales Team Engagement

  • Engage with field sales teams to validate strategies and ensure on‑ground feasibility.
  • Build strong relationships with regional leaders to ensure alignment and execution.

Who Were Looking For

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in sales, commercial strategy, business planning, or strategic consulting.
    • FMCG experience is required, with strong preference for backgrounds in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) environments.
    • Proven track record in leading sales strategy operations and RTM strategy design.
    • Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence field sales teams and translate strategy into execution.
    • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
Work Schedule and Location

  • Generally Mondays to Fridays on a hybrid work arrangement
  • Based in The Finance Centre (TFC) Head Office in BGC
