Primary DetailsTime Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeThe purpose of this role is to collaborate with business leaders to establish measurement frameworks, create KPIs and dashboards, and provide self-service reporting tools to enhance business outcomes. Additionally, the role involves generating advanced analytics, overseeing reporting processes, managing team performance, leading stakeholder engagements, and identifying trends in insurance portfolios for informed decision-making. The role also includes developing and maintaining both regular and ad hoc reporting needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop key measurement capabilities and strategic reporting initiatives.
- Interpret measurement results and recommend improvements to business partners.
- Ensure data integrity by reviewing and troubleshooting gaps and inconsistencies in data used for reporting.
- Collaborate with business partners to design measurement reporting and KPIs based on requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on enterprise data platform development for consistent metric definitions.
- Partner with various functions to support business needs and initiatives.
- Improve reporting processes and tools to ensure portfolio profitability and growth.
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Manage team deliverables and workload prioritisation.
- Coach and mentor team members, contribute to team development and assess individual performance for coaching and development needs.
Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:
- Moderate relevant experience.
Preferred Work Experience includes:
- Experience in people leadership and team management.
- Experience in managing reports and data analytics projects.
- Business intelligence development experience in insurance or financial services.
Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Postgraduate Degree.
- Certificate in Information Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Statistics.
