We're looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team and support an Australian public practice accounting firm. If you have solid end-to-end bookkeeping experience within an Australian accounting firm and can confidently manage multiple client portfolios, we'd love to hear from you!

💼Role:Senior Bookkeeper – Australian Public Practice

📚 Manage end-to-end bookkeeping for multiple Australian clients
🏦 Process and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
💰 Record sales, purchases, expenses, journals, and maintain general ledgers
📊 Prepare bookkeeping records and reports to support BAS/GST lodgements
🗂️ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with Australian standards
🤝 Work closely with Australian accountants and support multiple client engagements
💻 Use leading Australian accounting software to efficiently manage client books
🔍 Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve bookkeeping issues
📧 Communicate professionally with Australian clients and internal teams via email, chat, and virtual meetings

✅ At least 3-5 years of proven experience in Australian Public Practice Bookkeeping
✅ Experience working for an Australian accounting or bookkeeping firm (not solely in-house)
✅ Able to independently manage multiple client portfolios with minimal supervision
✅ Strong understanding of Australian bookkeeping principles, GST treatment, and coding
✅ Hands-on experience with major Australian accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online)
✅ Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
✅ High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
✅ Willing to work onsite at the Eastvantage office in the Philippines

⭐ Familiarity with BAS cycles, year-end processes, and public practice workflows
