About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking to hire a Senior Analytics Consultant. This role will be responsible for building out customer and employee profiles to enhance our pattern detection capabilities as well as support our ICP and Growth Risk outlier identification. Covers jobs that use data analytic skills and methods to solve problems, create metrics and reports, perform analyses, provide feedback, and deliver insights to support decision making for various enterprise and business initiatives and strategies for areas related but not limited to customer and product profitability, business opportunity pipeline, sales tracking, liquidity financial trends and compliance risk management.
In This Role, You Will
- Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
- Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
- Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
- Lead or participate on large cross group projects
- Mentor less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a graduate of a B.A./B.S. course in college, preferably in Applied Math, Statistics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Variable Engineering, Physics, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Computer Sciences, IT
- Candidate must have at least 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Reporting, Analytics, or Modeling using Tableau & SQL (experience in SAS is also an advantage)
- Skills: Quant Analytics, SAS, Alteryx, Jira, Quantitative Analytics, or equivalent
Job Expectations:
- Demonstrate ability to execute effectively in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships with many business and functional areas
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain strong credible relationships with key stakeholder groups including executive management, regulatory examiners and internal auditors
- Candidate must be willing to work at Wells Fargo, McKinley Hill Campus
- Candidate must be willing to work on mid-shift (5:00 PM - 2:00 AM), Mon - Fri, weekend off
- Candidate must be willing to work onsite
