The role

The Senior Analyst – Reconciliation is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial account reconciliations. This role plays a critical part in month-end close activities, variance investigation, and continuous process improvement, while maintaining strong controls and high data integrity across general ledger, bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts.

Your Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and approve account reconciliations in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Reconcile General Ledger, bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet accounts on a periodic basis
• Perform month-end close activities, including preparation and uploading of journal entries
• Review, analyze, and investigate reconciliation variances; ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
• Manage and clear open and aged items, including proactive and timely communication with relevant stakeholders
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting schedules
• Ensure a high level of accuracy, compliance, and internal control adherence in the reconciliation process
• Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort
• Support audits by providing reconciliation schedules, explanations, and required documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and process gaps
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (4-year course required)
• Minimum of 4–5 years of hands-on experience in account reconciliations
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior role
• Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
• CPA license is a strong advantage
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet tight month-end deadlines
• Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to work night shift or morning shift, as required
