Responsibilities

• Act as the firm's designated Salesman/Trader, handling and executing client orders on the Philippine Stock Exchange.
• Onboard clients: KYC and customer due diligence, suitability assessment, account documentation.
• Maintain complete and accurate order and trade records in line with the firm's Written Supervisory Procedures.
• Comply with CMIC business conduct rules and operate within the supervision of the firm's Associated Person.
• Support PSE Trading Participant operational readiness, including attending PSE product training (for example REIT trading eligibility) where applicable.
• Escalate suspicious transactions and client conduct issues to the compliance function.

Qualifications

• Filipino citizen. This role requires enrolment in the SEC certification programme, which requires a Philippine National ID (PhilSys). Applications from non-Filipino nationals cannot be processed for this position.
• Currently SEC-registered Salesman (Securities Representative) of a Philippine broker-dealer, or fully eligible to register as one.
• At least 18 years of age.
• SEC certification:
• first-time registration: the SEC Certification Examination must have been passed within the 3 years before the application date;
• subsequent registration: at least 3 years of experience as a registered Salesman, or the examination passed within the last 3 years.
• Candidates with a break of 3 years or more in their activity will be required to complete training, a refresher course and retake the examination. The company will sponsor and support this.
• A valid Philippine National ID (PhilSys) is required to enrol in the SEC certification programme.
• Able to obtain a PSE Trader account ID, which is issued only to traders who are both SEC-licensed and PAM-certified. PAM certification is required, or must be obtained on joining.
• Clean professional and regulatory record:
• no disciplinary sanction from any professional organisation or regulator for negligence, incompetence or improper management of a company;
• never dismissed from, or asked to resign from, any position on those grounds;
• no suspension of activity by the SEC;
• no disqualification under Section 29 of the Securities Regulation Code.
