The SAP SD Lead Consultant provides expert-level support for SAP SD, handles complex L3 escalations, and leads functional studies and project activities. The role requires autonomy in managing workshops, challenging business requirements, and delivering high-quality solutions. Implementation or deployment experience is preferred. The role may be shared across engagements with similar project and skills requirements.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • L3 Support & Escalations Resolve complex SAP SD incidents and lead root cause analysis. Guide L2 teams and ensure quality resolution. Manage major incidents and cross-functional issue coordination.
  • Study & Project Delivery Lead requirement gathering, data analysis, and functional studies. Challenge business requirements and enforce SAP standard solutions. Facilitate workshops independently with business teams. Deliver configuration, testing, documentation, and deployment support.
  • Stakeholder & Quality Management Provide expert SD guidance and mentor junior consultants. Ensure compliance with change processes and quality standards. Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and propose solutions

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • 8–12 years SAP SD experience with strong L3 support capability.
  • Deep SD expertise (pricing, billing, delivery, OTC processes).
  • Strong integration knowledge (FI, MM, WM).
  • Experience in implementation or deployment projects (preferred).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and workshop facilitation skills.
  • Experience with configuration, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), cutover, and deployment.
  • Strong documentation, specification writing, and process mapping skills.
  • Deep understanding of SAP SD core processes (order management, delivery, billing, pricing, credit, returns).
  • Strong integration knowledge with FI, MM, WM, and related modules.
  • Ability to debug functionally and validate ABAP developments.
  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to challenge requirements constructively and provide standard-based alternatives.
  • Ability to independently lead workshops and engage stakeholders.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years SAP SD experience with L3 support exposure.
  • Implementation or deployment project experience (preferred).
  • Strong background in global or complex SAP environments.
