The Senior Consultant (202) – Principal Consultant or Master Data Expert is responsible for collecting, organizing, centralizing, and maintaining the companys key data assets—covering information related to customers, suppliers, products, employees, and financial or regulatory records within the SAP environment. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all master data is securely stored, accurate, consistent, up to date, and efficiently distributed across departments to support seamless business operations and informed decision-making.

These Terms of Reference apply for the role of Senior Consultant (202) – Principal Consultant.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as Senior Consultant (202) – Principal Consultant are, but not limited to, the following:

  • Create, maintain, and update master and reference data within the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Validate data entries and monitor data integrity to eliminate duplicates, inconsistencies, and errors.
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of data management policies, governance standards, and control mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand data requirements and ensure data aligns with operational needs.
  • Participate in SAP implementation or enhancement projects, particularly in areas involving master data configuration and migration.
  • Conduct regular data quality checks, generate reports, and suggest improvements to enhance data reliability and consistency.
  • Ensure master data complies with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in documenting data management procedures, workflows, and data standards.
  • Provide user support and training related to master data processes and tools.
  • Monitor the impact of business process changes on master data and recommend necessary adjustments.

  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with both technical teams and business users.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and create user guides or training materials.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in SAP MDG with success in managing data quality, governance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in relational database management systems (RDBMS) and, ideally, SAP-specific platforms such as SAP HANA.
  • Strong command of SQL for querying, analyzing, and manipulating large datasets.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, data quality principles, and data governance frameworks.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills to identify inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business and IT teams to support data-related initiatives.
  • Good to have: Familiarity with key SAP modules such as FICO (Finance and Controlling), SD (Sales and Distribution), and MM (Materials Management), and understanding of how they interact with master data.

Others

  • Must be amenable to working onsite 3 days a week in McKinley, Taguig, on a mid-shift schedule.
