Role Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite. You will work closely with business stakeholders and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP and third-party applications

Responsibilities

• Utilize modular architectures, next-generation integration techniques and a cloud-first, mobile-first mindset to provide vision to Application Development Teams.
• Work with an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale
• Design and implement integration solutions using SAP BTP Integration Suite tools and services, including Cloud Integration, API Management, and Event Mesh.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain integration flows, APIs, and connectors to ensure data consistency and synchronization across various systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues and performance bottlenecks to maintain a reliable integration environment.
• Create and manage technical documentation, including integration architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and operational procedures.
• Implement best practices for integration development, including testing, version control, and deployment processes.
• Participate in integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions against business requirements.
• Stay current with SAP BTP updates, features, and best practices to recommend improvements and enhancements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP architecture, development, and infrastructure, to ensure comprehensive integration strategies.
  
  

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Must have at least 4 years of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite
• Good to have skills in SAP PO/PI and API development
• Experience with integration patterns, such as REST, SOAP, OData, and messaging protocols.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript) and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with SAP systems (e.g., S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices for integration deployment.
• Knowledge of data modeling and transformation tools (e.g., SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Data Hub).
