Job Description
Trade Promotion Strategy & Management
Leads the development of the markets trade promotion strategy and annual promotion plans.
Partners with Marketing, Sales, Category, and Finance teams to define optimal promotional mechanics, price tiers, and ROI targets.
Oversees pre- and post-promotion evaluation, ensuring strong governance, clean data, and actionable insights.
Manages the promotional learning library and integrates insights into S&OP+ cycles.
Provides guidance to ensure trade investment decisions are justified, strategic, and aligned with financial expectations.
Pricing & Mix Optimization
Defines everyday pricing and product mix guidelines, collaborating with Marketing and Customer Marketing.
Leads deployment of price adjustments, ensuring accurate execution and alignment with commercial strategy.
ConductsSKU-level pricing analysis, interpreting competitive price movements and translating them into:
promotional strategies
ROI calculations
trade spend recommendations
channel allocation decisions across GT, MT, and E‑commerce
Drives mix optimization initiatives by integrating consumer, customer, and financial data to set annual mix targets.
Trade Terms & Commercial Strategy
Supports the design of effective trade terms frameworks that enhance profit pools and customer investment efficiency.
Works cross-functionally to build structure and clarity into commercial levers.
Data & Analytics Leadership
Performs advanced data mining, cleaning, and reconciliation to ensure accurate commercial insights.
Uses exceptional Excel mastery (in a non-automated environment) to build pricing models, dashboards, and analysis frameworks.
Ensures data integrity and visibility behind pricing, promotion, and trade spend decisions.
