As a Reference Data Specialist III within the Static Data Manila team, you will onboard and maintain client records across multiple systems and regions. You will manage business-as-usual workflow, investigate exceptions, and ensure deliverables meet service levels and control requirements. You will interact with internal stakeholders across lines of business and support timely issue resolution. You will also contribute to process improvements and project work that strengthens efficiency and data quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain client records in required systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Update client information promptly in functional applications, global systems, and mainframes.
- Manage daily workflow by handling requests from client service officers, implementation teams, and internal departments.
- Complete tasks within defined timelines while meeting required controls and performance targets.
- Respond to mailbox inquiries and prioritize resolution of client-impacting issues.
- Engage with lines of business and internal clients via email or phone, including senior stakeholders.
- Investigate exceptions and aging items thoroughly and drive cases to resolution.
- Maintain work logs and case documentation to support tracking and audit readiness.
- Escalate non-routine items and risks to supervisors and managers with appropriate context.
- Support project work and production backup tasks to ensure workflow continuity.
- Identify opportunities to improve work practices and support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Minimum two years of experience in bank operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and strong organization.
- Client-focused and solution-oriented approach with professional issue resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively in global teams across regions and time zones.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including Philippine holidays and weekends as required.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain control discipline.
- Demonstrated initiative and accountability for end-to-end task completion.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And Skills
- Knowledge of trade, payments, or cash products.
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Experience supporting static data onboarding or client maintenance activities.
- Experience working with workflow queues, case tools, or shared mailboxes.
- Experience investigating complex exceptions and aging items.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices in operations.
- Experience collaborating with implementation or client service teams.
