QC Executive

Your Mission
Reporting directly to the Sr. Laboratory Analyst, QC Executive is responsible for the execution, monitoring, and documentation of quality control activities related to raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, environmental monitoring, and finished goods. Ensures that laboratory testing, inspections, process monitoring, and product evaluations are performed in accordance with established procedures, product specifications, food safety and quality requirements, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Supports quality investigations and continuous improvement initiatives through accurate and timely generation of quality data.
What you will do
Quality Control and Laboratory Operations
- Conduct sampling, inspection, testing, and evaluation of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, and finished goods according to approved methods and specifications.
- Coordinate external laboratory testing for microbiological and customer-specific requirements, review results, and provide timely inputs for product release and disposition decisions.
- Prepare and issue Certificates of Analysis (COA), laboratory reports, and other quality records.
- Perform evaluation of advanced samples, alternative materials, trial products, and product performance applications as required.
- Investigate questionable or out-of-specification results and communicate findings to concerned departments.
Production and Food Safety Monitoring
- Conduct production line clearance, in-line process monitoring, and verification of CCPs, PRPs, oPRPs, CQPs, and metal detectors.
- Monitor implementation and compliance of Quality Plans during receiving and production activities.
- Conduct hygiene, sanitation, GMP, environmental monitoring, allergen monitoring, and EMP-related testing activities.
- Support troubleshooting and investigations of food safety and quality issues during production.
- Laboratory and Resource Management
- Perform calibration, verification, maintenance, and monitoring of equipment in quality and baking laboratory.
- Maintain laboratory inventories, consumables, reagents, and reference materials.
- Ensure laboratory housekeeping, safety, waste management, and compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Participate in proficiency testing, method verification, and laboratory improvement activities.
Documentation, Systems, and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate laboratory records, testing reports, logbooks, monitoring forms, COAs, and external laboratory documentation.
- Update and maintain QC documents, test methods, quality plans, and technical records as assigned.
- Support SAP transactions related to quality control activities and provide technical quality data to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in investigations, corrective actions, validation activities, process trend analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
Digitalization
- Actively leverage digital tools and AI solutions to enhance productivity, automate processes, improve decision-making, and support continuous innovation in the workplace.
Flexibility and Support Functions
- Undertake additional responsibilities, projects, and assignments related to Quality Control as required to support organizational objectives, FSQMS, customer requirements, continuous improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance.
What we expect from you
- Education
- Preferred - bachelor’s degree in science related course (Chemistry, Chemical Technology or Food Technology), license required.
- Work experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in food manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices
- Experience with quality control techniques, sensory evaluation, and laboratory testing methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
