Project manage multiple initiatives from scoping through to implementation and roll out. And work jointly with cross-functional partners inside and outside of DES to establish operations that improve service experience and support.

The project portfolio consists of transformation of New Scope and/or Existing Scope services in HR, Finance and Procurement processes related to a regional branch of the Global Business Services (GBS) organization, and other types of projects, such as Strategical initiatives including Transformations, Post Merger Integrations, and Business Development initiatives. Able to work in complex/international environments, he/she will support and lead projects with medium to long-term scope typically embedded in the context of larger programs. Closely aligned with the DES Strategy, Governance and Transformation – I&T, key stakeholders of the DES organization and its legal entities involved, he/she is accountable for delivering simple to medium complexity projects assigned.

Your Role;

Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of transformation, post-merger integration, and business development initiatives. Working closely with the DES Strategy, Governance & Transformation – I&T leadership team, PMO, and key stakeholders across legal entities, you will:

• Manage 1–2 project portfolios spanning transformation, post-merger integration (PMI), business development, and other DES and GES Hub strategic initiatives.
• Define and apply processes and procedures that ensure the successful execution of projects across their full lifecycle.
• Proactively identify key risks, prioritize mitigation actions, and agree on clear resolution plans with relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on the progress, quality, and risk status of your project portfolio through regular governance calls and management presentations.
• Steer portfolio planning in close alignment with the Integration & Transformation leadership team, PMO, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee project calibration, identify potential resource gaps, and coordinate timely adjustments to keep delivery on track.
• Apply standard project management tools and templates in line with the defined Project Methodology.
• Ensure quality assurance across your full project portfolio.
• Lead research efforts to identify new business opportunities and emerging customer needs.
• Arrange, facilitate, and lead business development meetings with prospective clients.
• Cultivate and grow long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
  
  

Who You Are

You are a structured, proactive, and collaborative project management professional who is equally comfortable leading complex transformation projects and engaging with senior stakeholders. You bring:

• 3–5 years of overall professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a project leadership role.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in business process effectiveness or development.
• Proven track record of leading and managing end-to-end Transformation projects (Lift & Shift / Lift & Transform) with teams of 20–50 FTE or more.
• Experience delivering Non-Complex Program Transformation and Strategic Global Enterprise-level initiatives in Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, or Technology.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to present clearly and confidently to senior and executive leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in complex, international, and cross-functional environments.
• Solid command of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid) and tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or SmartSheet.
• Experience in IT, HR, Global Procurement (P2P), or Finance Service Center/Operations.
• Background in Contact Centers, Technology Shared Services, or GBS Transformation environments.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA or Workday.
• PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to business development or client-facing activities in a professional services or GBS context.
