Leads a transformation program and complex projects, often with global scope or with major impact on HR
Collaborate closely with GBS HR Head & LT, HR Function and business representatives to contribute to HR Foundations Strategy & Objectives and its execution
Steers and manages a team of Process Experts and/or Project Members, locally or globally
Steers the accomplishment of the project plan and timelines. Defines and aligns the project plan with stakeholders from other functions
Develops team members with project management skills and process know how, mentors
junior project team members
Translates the requirements into a design solution and proactively manage scope and scope changes
Assures adherence to the project methodology and proactively contributes to its adaptations based on current experience. Decides on project related adaptations of methodology in line with QA and audit requirements.
Plans and implements change management and communication activities in order strengthen understanding of the project objectives and its causes as well as facilitate change
Continuously monitors the progress of the projects in terms of timing and fulfillment of defined objectives, takes corrective actions in order to meet the objectives.
Provides accurate updates and reports according to Bayer Project Methodology towards management levels and stakeholder groups
Manages the impact of diverse projects to different processes, ensuring functional/GBS management are informed on impact caused by the project initiatives.
Assures resource needs on a timely manner with the Leader / Global Program Manager, anticipating workload and staff needed, to deal with the project tasks.
Represents GBS HRO function in functional or multidisciplinary initiatives
Is responsible for business cases preparation and the project budget (if applicable)
Identifies and manages different stakeholder groups for the project
Follows up and resolve issues and escalations from internal and external stakeholders.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in the relevant field Business Admin / Project Management or equivalent.
At least 7 years of experience working in a project management environment, including atleast 3 years in managing medium to large size projects and project teams
Excellence Communication and Presentation skills, which is key for this role
Solid knowledge of HR would be an advantage
Strong familiarity with project management methodologies, and best practices. Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, Scrum master certification preferred
Ability to work independently and take the lead in high ambiguous and complex environment with multiple and changing priorities
Leadership and influencing skills
Ability to plan, develop and coordinate cross functional projects and teams
Ability to address and resolve difficult situations and take decisions under time pressure
Problem solving and proactive attitude
High learning agility and flexibility to adapt to different projects based on business demand
Fluent in English
Willingness to travel and collaborate with stakeholders worldwide
