We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Program Manager to join our team and independently lead complex, high-impact global initiatives focused on transforming our contracting operations. In this role, you will go beyond execution to identify strategic opportunities, define programmatic roadmaps, and drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale improvements and automation. You will serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Google's global and regional GSRS teams.
You will navigate ambiguity to build structure, leading cross-functional groups and ensuring seamless alignment with senior leadership and operations teams. A key part of your role will be architecting solutions that scale, driving continuous improvement cultures, and empowering operations managers to meet dynamic business needs. Position Responsibilities
- Direct and lead complex, end-to-end global programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams, overseeing major new service launches and large-scale process transformations.
- Proactively identify operational gaps and define strategic roadmaps, setting objectives and deliverables that align with the organization's highest-level goals for security effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Develop, own, and execute comprehensive program architectures, including advanced risk mitigation strategies, resource capacity planning, and executive-level communication plans.
- Partner with Google global process owners to architect standardization strategies and lead extensive change management efforts across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
- Act as a strategic advisor and primary escalation point for complex programmatic blockers, navigating ambiguity to resolve issues and manage high-level stakeholder conversations related to GSRS programs.
- Establish advanced governance structures and data-driven performance tracking frameworks to measure the ROI and long-term success of programmatic goals.
- Provide guidance to project coordinators or operations managers to build overall team capability.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 6-10 years of progressive experience in project or program management,
- Demonstrated experience independently leading complex, large-scale, cross-functional programs from inception to successful completion.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, define program structures in undefined environments, and manage senior-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional executive-level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate highly complex technical or operational concepts into strategic business narratives.
- Proven ability to establish, share, and champion operational best practices across the team to drive continuous improvement and excellence. Determine and drive review of best practices to implement for future projects/programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry-recognized certifications in Program/Project Management or Process Improvement (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, Six Sigma Black/Green Belt).
- Proven track record of driving large-scale digital transformations, automation rollouts, or scaled security operations enhancements.
- Advanced expertise in enterprise work management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) and portfolio management strategies.
