Support the availability of Direct Materials at optimal cost by assisting in sourcing activities aligned with PMI requirements and market conditions. Provide operational and analytical support across Source‑to‑Contract processes to enable agility, cost efficiency, supply security, and sustainability.
Key contributions include data analysis, supplier coordination, budget support, cost tracking, documentation accuracy, and assisting in risk and compliance activities.
Job And Responsibilities
Category Management (Packaging):
Category Strategy Deployment
Support regional and/or global sourcing activities for assigned categories.
Prepare data and analyses for competitive bidding processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and volume projections.
Assist in maintaining supplier and contract documentation, including T&Cs and logistical inputs.
Contribute to vendor portfolio updates involving standardization and re-contracting activities.
Supplier Relationship Management
Assist in supplier onboarding, qualification processes, and preparation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) materials.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and escalate issues when needed.
Support resolution of commercial claims by gathering supporting documents and coordinating internally.
Compliance
Ensure adherence to PMI procurement policies, local regulations, and EHS processes by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Value Creation, Productivity & Projects Support
Assist in identifying productivity, cost‑improvement, and price‑tracking opportunities.
Standardization & Simplification
Support material harmonization and best‑practice adoption across markets.
Maintain accurate pricing, info records, and sourcing lists in SAP.
Assist with data cleansing and continuous improvement activities.
Governance
Maintain and update Procurement Scorecards and related datasets (Spend, Productivity, Price, Resiliency, Sustainability).
Update procurement databases and coordinate with cross‑functional teams on master data and guideline updates.
Support process improvement initiatives and assist in organizing cross‑functional review meetings.
Job Requirements
Professional Experience:
1–3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or related operational/analytical roles within a multinational or similar environment.
Basic understanding of procurement processes, supply markets, or commodities.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and financial acumen.
Good negotiation awareness (support role).
Understanding of process workflows and systems (SAP preferred).
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Strong organization and time‑management abilities.
Education & Qualifications
University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.
