We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement and Policy Servicing team at Marsh BCS. This role will be based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Processing Team Lead is responsible for managing complex insurance accounts while demonstrating leadership as an individual contributor. This role ensures accurate and timely execution of renewals and placements, strengthens stakeholder collaboration, and drives process improvement initiatives. The role also acts as a deputy to the Team Managers, providing support in team oversight and operations continuity.
We will count on you to:
- Manage end-to-end processing of complex and high-value accounts
- Lead renewal and placement activities, ensuring timelines and accuracy
- Request, review, and evaluate quotes from insurers
- Prepare and present comparative analyses for complex cases
- Ensure timely and accurate policy issuance and complete documentation
- Perform detailed policy checks and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Raise and manage billing requests with accuracy and proper tracking
- Act as SME and escalation point for complex processing issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business teams, insurers, and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate effectively across teams to ensure seamless process execution
- Identify process gaps and initiate improvement opportunities
- Lead and support process improvement projects and initiatives
- Analyze data and performance trends to recommend actionable insights
- Support onboarding, training, and upskilling of team members
- Provide guidance and informal coaching to peers when needed
- Ensure adherence to company policies, controls, and service standards
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving
- Act as back-up to the Team Managers in day-to-day operations and decision-making
- Support task allocation, workload balancing, and priority setting across the team
- Assist in monitoring team performance against KPIs (SLA, quality, productivity)
- Support team huddles, updates, and communication cascades
What you need to have:
- Basic understanding of non-life insurance concepts such as policy coverage, renewals, endorsements, and quotes gained through education, training, or work experience
- Ability to work with operational systems and data. Comfortable using MS Excel, Outlook, and workflow or case management tools to track requests and documents
- Strong attention to detail when preparing, reviewing, and validating policy documents, quote slips, and comparative reports
