Job Description

The Platform Innovation Lead drives the ideation, design, and development of cutting-edge platforms and services that fuel future business growth within Core and ICT. This role combines a strong vision for future technology trends with a practical, entrepreneurial approach to creating and scaling innovative platforms that deliver tangible business value.

Duties And Responsibilities

Strategic Ideation & Visioning

• Lead cross-functional teams in the ideation, design, and conceptualization of new platforms and services aimed at enhancing the B2B’s core and ICT business models
• Collaborate with leadership to define and refine innovation strategies, identifying opportunities for new platforms that align with long-term business goals
• Stay at the forefront of technology trends, identifying disruptive innovations that could impact the industry and the business
  
  
  

Productization & Development

• Oversee the end-to-end productization process, turning ideas into viable platforms or services ready for market introduction
• Work closely with design, engineering, and operations teams to define platform architecture, development timelines, and go-to-market strategies
• Manage the development lifecycle, from prototype through to scale, ensuring alignment with both market needs and technical capabilities.
  
  
  

Business Growth & Transformation

• Drive the adoption and integration of new platforms into the business ecosystem, ensuring they contribute to revenue generation, cost optimization, or market expansion.
• Evaluate and prioritize the commercial potential of new platforms, guiding the business through necessary pivots or adjustments to meet market demands.
• Provide insights and recommendations for future business strategies based on platform performance and evolving industry trends.
  
  
  

Technical Oversight

• Ensure the technical feasibility of innovative solutions and maintain high standards of quality and reliability
• Work closely with internal and internal technology partners, including senior leadership, Product Managers, Sales, and Marketing, to align platform innovations with overall business goals and objectives.
  
  
  

Innovation Culture Leadership

• Foster a culture of continuous innovation, experimentation, and learning within the organization, encouraging teams to challenge norms and explore new ideas
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the innovation function
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology product management, platform innovation, or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and launching successful platforms or digital services
• Experience working in the B2B sector, with an understanding of the telecommunications landscape in the Philippines
• Strong understanding of the core and ICT sectors, with hands-on experience in driving platform-based business models
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from concept to execution
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and cloud computing is highly desirable
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field
