We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Valuation Services team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Manila. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In order to support the ongoing growth of Marsh Valuation Services throughout Asia, we are seeking an experienced Plant and Equipment Valuer to join our Asian team. We specialize in valuations of property, infrastructure, plant, and equipment assets throughout the Asia region with a focus on insurance and financial reporting valuations. You will become a vital member of the valuations team while undertaking valuations across the Asia region for a range of purposes. This role suits a driven, growth-focused individual with experience in undertaking valuations across a range of industries looking for an opportunity to grow within a business supported by a major global organisation.

We will count on you to:
- Apply your advanced knowledge to undertake valuations of varying types of assets for differing purposes
- Work across multiple projects to meet deadlines while managing your time effectively
- Assist in the growth of the valuations team and servicing existing clients
- Complete valuations of multiple locations and assets
- Travel internationally for key client commitments
- Provide expert advice to clients in developing and adjusting project approaches, methodology, and tools to guide valuation programs and initiatives
- Develop and execute strategies to expand successful business/working relationships with clients to grow the portfolio
- Lead both small, complex, and unique projects and teams
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
What you need to have:
Forming a key part of the team, we are seeking an individual that is driven to both grow professionally and support the growth of our business. You will be client focused, motivated and have problem solving skills you can apply to support both new and future clients.
- Relevant plant and equipment valuation qualification (Philippine Association of Realty Appraisers Inc. (PARA), RICS – Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors member, or ASA – American Society of Appraisers).
- SEC accreditation
- 5 years’+ experience in performing valuations
- Experience with financial reporting and insurance valuations looked upon favorably.
- Ability to be self-motivated, dynamic and flexible
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (in particular MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word, etc.)
- Availability to travel internationally, estimate travel time for business is between 20% and 40%, with a flexible work set up (home-office).
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
