The resource will be part of Manila GMO Branch, responsible for delivering day‑to‑day operational support for the Global Markets (FICC) business in the Philippines. The role covers end‑to‑end trade processing for FX spot and forward transactions, as well as Money Market (Corporate Treasury) products. As the platform grows, the scope is expected to broaden to include Fixed Income and FICC derivatives. The resource will report to the Manila GMO Branch Head, work closely with the team supervisor, and act as a key contact for Front Office and various support functions.
This position plays a critical role in the success of the Global Markets business in the Philippines and in shaping the culture of the GMO team—fostering a mindset that focuses on strong client delivery, sound risk management, and adherence to enterprise and regulatory standards.
The role requires an experienced market subject‑matter expert with strong operational discipline, capable of handling BAU activities independently with high accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate must be an effective communicator and should have a solid understanding of the Philippine regulatory landscape and local financial market infrastructure.
