Summary

The Network Operations Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and configuring the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role supports the monitoring and troubleshooting of network environments, assists in resolving network-related incidents, and participates in the implementation of network changes and improvements. The engineer works closely with IT teams and service providers to ensure stable and reliable network operations aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and configure network infrastructure within the defined operational scope (e.g., Azure Cloud network, Next-Gen firewalls, SD-WAN, wireless systems, SSL VPN, application delivery controllers and related technologies).

Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation.

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve network-related incidents and service disruptions.

Support the implementation of network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities in accordance with change management processes.

Perform routine health checks, preventive maintenance, and system updates.

Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.

Maintain and update network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.

Ensure network operations comply with security policies, standards, and best practices.

Assist in root cause analysis and problem management activities to prevent recurring issues.

Participate in on-call support or escalation processes when required.
