National Sales Planning & Analysis Manager
The incumbent is accountable for sales performance analysis across channels nationally, identify growth opportunities and provide commercial insights based on sales performance and operational KPIs. The incumbent is also accountable in measuring effectiveness of trade program and investment and prioritize initiatives with highest ROI. The incumbent is also accountable in projecting the latest estimate (LE) of sales achievement on a periodic basis, representing the Sales function in S&OP meetings, and general decision support for M&S and the ExCom
As the National Sales Planning & Analysis Manager, you will
- Sales Performance Analysis & Forecast
- Drive business growth by analyzing volume performance across product categories and channels, linking it with other trends (i.e. industry performance, operational KPIs, trade initiatives), understanding key drivers of performance and non-performance.
- Analyze and identify strategic and tactical opportunities across categories, segments, channels and regions. Work collaboratively with different functions (i.e. Field Sales, Marketing, Finance, P&C) to design sustainable solutions to address identified opportunities to deliver on overall market volume, SOM and OCC objectives.
- Establish top-down volume and distribution ambition per business unit and define National forecast for volume and mix (month-to-go and year-to-go) based on market trend, working with other functions (Field Sales, Marketing, FP&A, Supply Chain) to ensure strategic plans are properly captured and alignment on market reporting.
- Generate insights and trends for timely strategic reporting to key senior stakeholders across functions.
- ROI, ROO and Prioritization
- Design and implement processes that will enable ROI-focused prioritization including ROI measures to ensure each business unit has a focused approach in delivering objectives
- Perform post implementation evaluation of trade spending and initiatives to assess program effectiveness and measure impact to Sales performance. Define, align and communicate key learnings together with relevant stakeholders and adjust future plans as necessary.
- Support the prioritization process to focus on highest ROI/ROO with cross-functional stakeholders
- Sales Force Target Setting
- Set volume and operational targets for Field Sales, based on agreed KPI and incentive mechanism and linking it with the delivery of JTIPs business goals.
- Define executional instructions for Sales Force and link them into Sales systems used by Sales Force.
- Analyze achievement rate of Sales Incentives and effectiveness of the design in driving business objectives. Partner with FFCG and P&C in calibrating Sales Incentives as necessary.
- Business Support
- Manage and lead projects to identify tools to improve efficiency in Sales Force e.g. dashboards
- Lead the development and maintain libraries of past, current and future activities ensuring stakeholders have ready access to relevant information
- People Management

- Mentor, coach and provide constructive regular feedback to direct reports, determine capability gaps and development needs, and ensure strong succession pipeline.
- Collaborates with People & Culture department in attracting and developing talents and keeping the team engaged through appropriate rewards and recognition and employee engagement initiatives.
Who Are We Looking For
Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance or any related field
Experience Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales planning, financial planning or any other analytical Sales roles, preferably with multinational FMCG.
