Job Description

Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will spend your day designing, coding, and improving software components that meet unique business requirements. Your work will involve collaborating with colleagues to ensure solutions are scalable and efficient, while adapting to evolving project needs. You will engage in continuous learning and problem-solving to contribute effectively to the development lifecycle and deliver high-quality software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.

Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve performance and user experience.

Document technical specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation within the software development lifecycle.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).

Strong knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and report/dashboard creation within business intelligence platforms.

Experience in integrating data from multiple sources to create comprehensive and insightful visualizations.

Ability to optimize data queries and improve performance of business intelligence reports.

Familiarity with best practices in data governance, security, and compliance within BI environments.

Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data accuracy and report generation.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI).

This position is based at our Manila office.
