As the Metrics & Reporting Specialist you will help drive critical business decisions by analyzing metrics and designing reports. You communicate these results to stakeholders and often provide suggestions based on the findings.

Position Responsibilities

  • Compiles straightforward information from multiple sources to analyze, develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports from multiple sources, both internally and externally. Run data queries from reporting tools (Google Data Studio, Google PLX, etc.)
  • Establish actionable metrics and develop data based solutions that guide users on how to assess business trade-offs and outcomes.
  • Perform and structure analyses independently and conduct research to uncover the insights that will lead to business recommendations.
  • Customize communication and output (e.g., dashboards, visualizations, analyses) to a wide variety of audiences. Provide interpretation, analysis, or insight along with clearly-stated information.
  • Lead end-to-end development and deployment of “single source of truth” centralized reports, dashboards, models, and tools to analyze, report, and present partnerships and operations related data.
  • Design and develop reporting needed to answer the business questions posed by stakeholders.
  • Provide requirements for reporting needs to BI teams to ensure data is available for reporting.
  • Ensure that reports and underlying data sets are accurate, and troubleshoot any issues with appropriate contacts (e.g. external partners)

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience running and creating query reports.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Office & Google Suite, in order to store data, create reports, and perform other tasks.
  • Excel/Sheets - Pivot tables, Macros, advanced formulas.
  • Access - queries and database management.
  • PowerPoint/Slides - Be able to create decks from scratch, modify charts, and import macros
  • Experience developing front-end reporting with business intelligence (BI) suites (e.g., SQL, PLX, Data Studio, Tableau, etc.).

  • Prior experience in handling multi-channel accounts (phone, chat, email, backoffice).
  • Experience in management consulting or other business strategy experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels and adapt to different audiences.
  • Ability to take initiative, thrive in ambiguity, and demonstrate problem solving leadership and tenacity with limited oversight.
  • Passionate about data visualizations and storytelling.
