About the role
The Activation Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role within both the South East Asia Marketing Team and the Foodservice Chains Team, with a strong focus on channel marketing support for foodservice chain customers. The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing activation plan that aligns Kerry’s strategic business priorities with those of our customer base. Success in this role will be driven by delivering impactful marketing initiatives through best-in-class customer engagement—ranging from compelling presentations and digital content to external campaigns and collaborative sessions.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with strategic marketing and commercial leaders to develop activation plans for the foodservice chains channel, bringing Kerry’s differentiated value propositions to life through unique and compelling content tailored to the channel and customer base.
Partner with foodservice sales teams to generate demand by delivering tailored content, presentations, and consumer insights that connect customer opportunities with Kerry-branded or customized solutions.
Lead the execution of best-in-class customer experiences and engagements, both virtually and in person, ensuring high-impact interactions that elevate Kerry’s presence.
Work closely with sales teams to foster marketing-to-marketing relationships and build strategic channel partnerships with key customers.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of foodservice channel dynamics, consumer trends, and customer strategies to deliver insight-led, value-driven solutions.
Collaborate with the Marketing Insights team to design and execute proprietary market and consumer research that informs strategic decision-making.
Support the creation of commercial account plans by leveraging insights into channel behavior and evolving consumer preferences.
Lead Kerry’s external marketing content strategy for foodservice chains in partnership with the marketing communications team, including digital campaigns, email content, and sales enablement tools.
Plan and execute live and virtual events—such as industry tradeshows, customer exhibitions, and conventions—ensuring best-in-class experiences that activate Kerry’s strategic priorities.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration, with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Strong expertise in marketing, brand management, activation, and event management
Solid business acumen and a proactive, end-to-end problem-solving mindset; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other standard business presentation and database tools
Good understanding of digital marketing principles and platforms
Skilled in market research methodologies and capable of generating actionable insights from diverse data sources
Experience in the creative process, including visual design and copywriting
Prior exposure to working within a matrix organization is a plus
