As a Manager, Procurement at B. Braun you plays a vital role in overseeing and driving the strategic procurement function of the organization. The Procurement Lead/Manager will ensure the effective sourcing of goods and services, manage supplier relationships, and implement procurement best practices to achieve cost efficiency, compliance, and value creation. A strong focus will be placed on procurement automation, process improvement, and operational excellence to support scalable and sustainable growth.

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that support organizational goals while ensuring cost‑efficient and timely acquisition of goods and services.
• Lead and develop the Procurement team, driving high performance, capability building, and professional growth.
• Drive procurement automation and digital transformation initiatives, including e‑sourcing tools and system optimization.
• Strengthen procurement processes through continuous improvement, enhanced transparency, compliance, and strong supplier management.
• Partner with internal stakeholders and global/regional procurement teams to align sourcing activities, manage budgets, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Oversee strategic sourcing activities, contract governance, KPIs, and cross‑functional initiatives to improve procurement effectiveness and organizational competitiveness.
  
  

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of procurement or supply chain experience, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Knowledge of procurement principles, digital tools, automation systems, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
• Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and experienced in budget management and cost analysis.
• Professional procurement certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM) preferred, with a strong commitment to ethical conduct and continuous improvement..
