About The Role

This is a critical leadership role within BHP’s Global Internal Audit function, operating at the intersection of assurance, advisory, and business performance.

You will lead complex audits across global operations and engage directly with senior business leaders to provide clear, actionable insights. The role requires the ability to challenge thinking, influence decisions, and drive meaningful outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead complex risk-based audits across global operations
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders including CFO and other Executive Leadership Team - facing leaders
• Translate audit findings into actionable business insights
• Lead geographically dispersed teams (KL, Manila, global)
• Drive innovation and data analytics in audit delivery
  
  

About You

• Experience people leader in large multinational organisations
• Strong preference for Big 4 / top tier consulting background
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Strong executive communication and presence
• Experience with global audit delivery and risk frameworks
• Exposure to international markets (Australia, North America, Europe) with mining, energy and resources experience viewed favourably
• Relevant qualifications and certifications including CIA, CPA, CA, CISA
