About the role

As our Accountant, you will be responsible for the full cycle accounting for a portfolio of assets, including the management accounting and reporting requirements of each asset, with the objective of optimising the accuracy and quality of the reporting. The role includes communication of information and insights to its stakeholders and meeting all reporting deliverables.

What you will do

Reporting

• Financial Reports & Monthly Management Reports – month-end analysis & commentary on each asset
• Key input to the focus and output of the Reporting & Analysis
• Provide reporting and analytics with commercial insights and commentary
• Presenting the financial reports in senior management and client meetings
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting with the introduction of the Yardi system enhancements

Forecast and Budget

• Complete quality and timely Annual Budget and presentations to relevant stakeholders
• Deliver quarterly forecast by partnering with internal stakeholders

Business Partnering

• Provide value-adding business partnering to a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that key objectives
• are delivered
• Develop key stakeholder relationships with Property Management teams, Leasing Executive and Property
• Accountants to share knowledge and process improvements.

• Month-end reporting is accurate, timely and trusted by stakeholders
• Your commentary and insights shape the decisions senior management and clients make
• Annual budgets and quarterly forecasts are delivered on time and stand up to scrutiny
• Property Managers and property Accountants come to you as a genuine business partner

Skills, qualifications and experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working for a BPO company in a similar management accountant role
• Qualified or Part qualified CA or CPA
• Experienced in using mainstream ERP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience in Australian property management companies highly desirable
• Experience using Yardi desirable
