Logistics Supervisor Food Sector

Our brand, Lennor Metier Consulting, a DOLE-licensed headhunting and recruitment agency in the Philippines, is proud to partner with a leading distributor of top-quality raw materials for food, non-food, & commodity needs in the Philippines in their search for a Logistics Supervisor based in Taguig.

Salary Range: P40,000 - P45,000

Work Setup: Onsite

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Location: Taguig City

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound transportation via truckload and containerized shipments
• Generate weekly logistics delivery reports for management review
• Monitor local shipment distribution to ensure operational consistency
• Audit all logistics documentation and billings for accuracy
• Allocate incoming local and international shipments to appropriate channels
• Partner with demand planning to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock-outs
• Administer inventory batch control and rotation processes
• Maintain material integrity by enforcing shelf-life and expiration parameters
• Strategize outbound shipment schedules to guarantee on-time delivery
• Resolve delivery schedule disruptions by adjusting routing and carrier assignments
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with providers to secure cost-effective solutions
• Address customer concerns regarding delivery, quality, and service disruptions
• Analyze logistics metrics to drive cost reductions and lead-time improvements
• Evaluate competitive freight rates from diverse carriers and forwarders
• Refine logistics workflows to maximize operational efficiency
• Research emerging technologies to enhance supply chain performance
• Supervise and mentor logistics staff and transportation coordinators
  
  

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. 
• 5+ years of experience in logistics management, ideally with a background in raw materials distribution or a similar industry. 
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality standards, food safety regulations (e.g. HACCP), and handling procedures for various raw materials. 
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills. 
• Proficiency in logistics management software, inventory systems, and data analytics tools. 
• Experience in both the food and non-food sectors. 
• Certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
