Key Accounts Development Manager

The Key Account Development Manager (KADM) partners with the National Key Account Manager to develop and execute account strategies that build trusted, long-term partnerships with key account customers and deliver sustained, profitable growth—in line with JTI Our Way.

The KADM is expected to build a strong talent pipeline by actively developing people—through regular coaching, clear development plans, and providing meaningful stretch opportunities that grow capabilities and performance.

As the Key Account Development Manager, you will

  • Key Account Management
  • Manage National Key Accounts (NKA) and oversee Trade Terms Agreements (TTA) and contracts.
  • Lead commercial negotiations on trade terms, programs, and investments to protect ROI and drive sales growth.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for account matters.
  • Monitor performance (sales, share, margins, promotions) and lead monthly business reviews with action plans.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables and resolution of disputes or deductions.
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting
  • Support annual and bi-yearly planning, including strategic recommendations, performance reviews, and joint account plans.
  • Identify growth opportunities through performance analysis, market checks, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Translate account strategy into actionable initiatives (distribution, visibility, assortment, promotions).
  • Ensure financial discipline by integrating pricing, trade spend, and profitability considerations into plans.
  • Compliance & Administration
  • Align program requirements with finance and marketing, ensuring timelines, KPIs, and risks are managed.
  • Review receivables, shipment requirements, stock availability, and offtake data to ensure accuracy and alignment with targets.
  • Monitor closing activities, expense recognition, and resolution of claims or hanging balances.
  • People Management
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment aligned with company values.
  • Recruit, develop, and coach team members while partnering with People & Culture on performance and talent development.

Who Are We Looking For

Education Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business & Operation Management, or any other quantitative subjects / related field

Experience

Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in FMCG.

  • Proven experience in Sales and Key Account Management, and Financial and Operation Management.
  • Track record in stakeholder management
  • Experience in marketing in the Philipines is not essential but is advantageous
