Junior Developer Blazor

The Junior Developer (Blazor) will contribute as a member of an agile development team in building and working on local, regional, and enterprise-grade software systems. The role-holder is responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of applications under the guidance of senior developers and technical leads.

Main responsibilities:

• Work as part of an agile development team to assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web, desktop, mobile, and other supported software platforms built on firm‑standard technologies
• Support the collection and documentation of user requirements and user stories under the guidance of senior team members
• Develop application components and features following established coding standards, design patterns, and security best practices
• Write and maintain unit tests with guidance to ensure code quality and reliability
• Participate in code reviews as a learner, incorporating feedback from senior developers
• Assist with release packaging and deployment activities to development and test environments
• Help troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating complex problems as needed
• Provide first- and second‑level support for applications supported by the Software Engineering team
• Monitor assigned applications and report performance or reliability concerns to senior team members
• Participate in knowledge‑sharing sessions, training, and mentoring activities to build technical and domain expertise
• Follow established development processes, tools, and documentation standards

Skills and experience:

• Some professional experience in software development or equivalent academic/project experience
• Basic working knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Introductory experience with ASP.NET (MVC, Razor, or Blazor)
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Exposure to source control systems (ADO, Git) and basic CI/CD concepts
• Willing and able to learn firm‑standard tools, frameworks, and development practices
• Experience in working independently or as part of a team with limited supervision to deliver working software
• Knowledgeable in the full development life cycle using Agile or other development framework
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
