IT Solutions Architect

About The Job

As a Solution Architect, you will lead the design and optimization effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your role is to recommend solutions to business requirements based on existing application design, review existing solutions designs and optimize when deemed necessary. You will also be responsible to define new IT standards in line with company objectives as well as enforce existing IT standards. You will work closely with IT Development Teams and both local and group-wide IT Architecture teams to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.

What You Will Do

• You will see the “big picture” and create architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team
• Identify the appropriate software architecture / design for the implementation of new software as well as the enhancements of existing ones.
• Ensure that the solution meets all requirements of quality, security, scalability, sustainability, and portability.
• Provide a framework for the development of a software or system that will result in high quality IT solutions.
• Develop and design application roadmaps of the internally developed software.
• Maintain and evolve software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and technologies
• E valuate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Continuous research of emerging technologies and trends in IT.
• Analyze, investigate, and provide relevant recommendations in certain situations.
• Conducts insightful, outside-the-box ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
  
  

What You Should Have

• At least 3-5 years of experience in designing and building software applications
• Advance experience in both back-end and front-end development with familiarity in various programming such as but not limited to PHP Laravel, Vue.js, Java, Spring, SQL, Shell scripting, RDBMS platforms, etc.
• Advance knowledge with Domain Driven Design and Microservice Design.
• Advance knowledge of solution design and architecture of complex solutions.
• Advance familiarity with API’s (Open API Specification) and asynchronous processes
• Advance knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
• Advance knowledge in enterprise integration concepts
• Advance experience in OOP, SOA, open-source technologies and cloud-computing / cloud services
• Advance understanding of software quality assurance principles and security standards
• Advance experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering and refinement
• Advance familiarity with IT infrastructure components and their inter-relations
• Advance familiarity with financial impact analysis of IT systems and process as well as telco-related technologies / platforms is a plus
  
  

What Can Set You Apart

• Knowledge of BPMN preferred.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or CRM (customer relationship management) tools welcomed.
• Experience of working with Product teams and UX/UI designers an advantage.
