What You Will Do
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Identify, analyze and create detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues and output errors and work directly with developers to find solution and develop retesting procedures
- Perform all aspects of product testing including functional, automation, component, system, integration, regression and exploratory testing.
- Coordinate among with developer, data analyst, business analyst and business user for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Notify the Software Test Lead / Senior Tester of any major issues that may be encountered during testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
What You Should Have
- At least 3-5 years experience in a software tester role or similar role.
- Good knowledge with API testing using SOAP-UI & POSTMAN.
- Hands-on experience in web-based application and mobile testing
- Hands on experience in database technology (e.g. Oracle, SQL)
- Basic knowledge of software testing, it’s main concepts and processes: the whole bug life cycle; different testing levels, methods and types; test estimation techniques
- Basic knowledge of test and defect management software (e.g. Jira, Zephyr)
