About The Job

To ensure the reliability, resilience, and operational excellence of critical production systems by applying SRE and engineering best practices , including strong observability, proactive incident management, automation, and continuous improvement—while meeting regulatory requirements and optimizing operational cost

What You’ll Do

  • Reliability, Resilience & Continuity (DRC / BCP)
  • Own system reliability, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
  • Design, test, and continuously improve resilience plans to meet availability and recovery objectives (RTO/RPO).
  • Observability & Monitoring
  • Lead end‑to‑end observability using Azure Application Insights , Grafana , and related telemetry platforms.
  • Define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and alerting standards to enable proactive incident detection and prevention.
  • Production Engineering & Incident Management
  • Oversee production support with an engineering‑first mindset.
  • Drive incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and post‑incident reviews focused on systemic fixes and automation.
  • Platform & Tooling Enablement
  • Manage and evolve operational platforms and initiatives (e.g., Loki , logging, monitoring, and observability tooling).
  • Partner with engineering teams to reduce toil through automation and self‑service capabilities.
  • Governance, Audit & Regulatory Readiness
  • Ensure systems and processes meet audit, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Own remediation of audit findings through sustainable engineering and process improvements, not manual controls.

What You Need To Have

  • Minimum 10 years experience in IT Development role
  • Experience in Mobile Application Development API and backend Java & .NET
  • Strong understanding of site reliability engineering (SRE) principles, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets and reliability tradeoffs.
  • Hands on experience with observability and monitoring platform such as: Azure Applications Insights, Grafana, Logging platforms (eg. Loki, centralized logging stacks)
  • Solid knowledge of cloud-native architectures (preferably Azure), including production monitoring, scalability and resiliency patterns
  • Experience in supporting production systems with Engineering mindset
  • Familiarity in Incident Management Frameworks and post incident reviews (RCA, blameless postmortems)
  • Proven experience designing and operating Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
  • Strong understanding of RTO/RPO failover strategies, and DR testing.
  • Ability to translate resilience requirements into engineering and platform improvements.
  • Experience driving automation to reduce operational toil (scripts, pipelines, self-service tooling)
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD infrastructure-as-a code or automation or automation frameworks is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to partner with engineering teams to embed operability into Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience handling audit findings regulatory requirements, and remediation tracking.
  • Ability to implement sustainable, engineering-driven controls rather than manual reactive fixes.
  • Familiarity with production risk management and change governance.
  • Ability to lead cross functional discussion specifically with Engineering DevOps, Cloud Platform and other business teams.

What Can Set You Apart

  • Background in DevOps, Platform Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering roles
  • Exposure in FinOps or cloud cost optimization
  • Experience supporting regulated environments (financial services is an advantage)
